Ensworth, meet the chickens. Since the summer, a new program has been hatching. Frist Campus now houses a chicken coop with more than a dozen chickens. Multiple students have been able to care for and learn about the chickens by joining the club (Eggsworth) or by cross-curricular immersion projects.
Ensworth's Patchwork program invites writers, illustrators, storytellers, musicians, and other creative people to present to our Grades K-8 students throughout the year. Their presence in our lives is like a patchwork quilt of creativity, hence the name of the program.
High School students had the opportunity to hear from current Ensworth parent Jeffrey Ezell '98 about compost. If you are an Ensworth Tiger, you know about the Black and Orange teams. Today, nine Grade 8 students, nominated by their peers, offered speeches about the leadership opportunities and gifts of being a team captain on the Red Gables Campus.
