• Lower School Arts

Within the Lower School, Ensworth students learn concepts and develop skills essential to further exploration of visual and performing arts.
Our structured, well-planned curriculum is designed to enable each progressive year to build on the previous year's foundation.

Lower School Students have art for two periods each week, led by a trained art instructor in fully equipped art studios. Students explore creating in different media, study art from other cultures, and are introduced to some of the most innovative artists in history. Music is introduced to kindergarten students, continuing through all years of Lower School, with choral class incorporated into Grade Four curriculum and beginner band class taught in Grade Five.
