Arts Facilities

Designed for function and inspiration, Ensworth’s arts facilities reflect our dynamic community and progressive program.
The  facilities provide space for students to pursue their passions, foster creativity, develop confidence and embrace expression. Parents, faculty and fellow students gather to celebrate the talents of others. From the Singing Tigers to a production of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, performances are hosted throughout the year for all to enjoy.

The Ingram Art Center at the High School
Features art studios, a darkroom, a graphics lab, art display spaces, a music rehearsal hall, a black box theater and a dance studio. A 642-seat theater offers a spacious venue for drama, music and dance performances as well as assembly space. The theater features a set-construction workshop, exceptional sound and lighting, and production facilities, including an orchestra pit lift, a green room, and teaching spaces.

Frist Hall
Serves as a venue for concerts, plays and assemblies and provides teaching spaces for music and band on the Lower/Middle School Campus. It is fully equipped with dressing rooms and costume storage, a light and sound booth, and prop storage areas.

Lower/Middle School Campus
Four art studios at the Lower/Middle School Campus are devoted to encouraging students to explore a variety of media from pastels to woodblock prints to ceramics to batiks. In addition to a dance studio, there are three studios designated for choral music and band.

Robinson Hall
Younger students perform for parents and guests in Robinson Hall on a small stage perfect for second grade puppet shows and third grade plays. A scenery room in the Hart Discovery wing offers plenty of space for painting scenery and backdrops for class plays and puppet shows.
