E Sports Football Camps provide a positive environment in which to learn age and skill level appropriate fundamentals and techniques. From Quarterback Clinics to Skill Position Camps to Lineman Camps, each participant will acquire skills and knowledge that will greatly benefit them during football season and beyond. In addition, proper and safe tackling and blocking techniques are taught at each camp. Whether your child is a beginner playing flag football or has played tackle football for a number of years, the Ensworth Football Camps will prepare them for their respective season.

  • Roc Batten

    Roc Batten was announced as the Ensworth Head Varsity Football Coach in 2019. In addition to his role as Head Football Coach, Roc also serves as the Associate Director of Admissions for the high school. The appointment marked a homecoming for Coach Batten, as he was a member of Ensworth’s faculty and staff in the high school’s early years.

    Roc originally joined Ensworth in 2005 and was Defensive Coordinator on the coaching staff that led the Tigers to their first Football State Championship. In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Coach Batten was the school’s inaugural Director of Service Learning and was integral in developing the curriculum and international service programs. In his six years at Ensworth, he also served as an Admission Assistant, Track Coach, and Director of Summer Programs.

    Roc attended Vanderbilt University where he earned his BS in Human and Organizational Development, M.Ed. in Educational Leadership, and played football. As a member of the football program he was a 2-year starter and a member of the Academic All-SEC Team his sophomore and junior season. During the 1998 season, Roc was voted team captain by his teammates but his career was cut short due to a neck and arm injury. During that season, Roc started his coaching career and spent five years on the Vanderbilt coaching staff. After his time at Vanderbilt, Coach Batten was an assistant football coach at MBA and a part of two State Championships. Most recently, Coach Batten was the Head Football Coach, Associate Director of Admissions, and Director of Camps at Battle Ground Academy for 8 years. Coach Batten was recognized as the DII-A Coach of the Year in 2016 and received the Middle Tennessee Chapter National Football Foundation Bonnie Sloan Courage Award. During Coach Batten's coaching tenure, he has had the pleasure of coaching 46 players that played collegiate football and 8 players that played in the NFL.

    Roc and his wife Sone-Serae have three children Aliyah, Isaiah and Makaylah.
