To apply, visit the online application. Your email will be required to create an account that will allow you to complete the application and track steps in the admission process through the parent portal. Applications are accepted after the deadline, but please contact the admission office before applying for guidance about the late application steps.
A teacher recommendation form from the applicant’s current teacher is required. Forms can be requested through the parent portal or by downloading them from the link on this page. We ask that you submit recommendations after December 1, 2022 so the teacher has sufficient experience with your child to give feedback. If your child’s school has a policy that does not allow teachers to complete the form, please request the Optional Recommendation Form from the admission office so that it can be sent to an adult who has worked closely with your child in another capacity (example- coach, mentor, tutor, youth leader, etc.)
If applying to Grades 1-12, a transcript release form must be completed and submitted to the applicant’s current school.
Evaluations vary by grade level. An email with instructions will be sent when scheduling becomes available. Late applicants should contact the admission office regarding this step.
All current families applying for another child to attend Ensworth in kindergarten should follow the steps above but adhere to the deadlines below. The timing varies from the regular kindergarten admission process in that the deadlines are earlier:
November 18- Application form deadline
December 9- Teacher recommendation submission deadline. Please submit between November 1 and December 9.
Weeks between Thanksgiving and Winter Break- Kindergarten Evaluation
Admission decisions will be available online on March 4, 2023. Replies are due by March 8, 2023.
