Meredith Whitson

I am working with the BONT to learn how relics from the Civil War era are recovered and preserved. By looking into the artifact recovery process, I’ll be learning how the process has developed and progressed through the years. I’ll be helping the BONT actually recover these items to help them teach the younger generations and Nashville civilians what happened in and around their backyards. I will research how the progression of recovering artifacts from 160 years ago has changed and therefore how the progression of recovery has improved their knowledge of this very important battle of the Civil War.
