Alara Weitkamp

I chose to volunteer at Williamson Medical Center. I spent my time volunteering at the front desk and the emergency room. I greeted and directed patients and their families to their doctors, cleaned rooms, restocked materials for doctors, discharged patients, and communicated with patient families. My service allowed me to see what being in a healthcare field entails. I plan to research what ways healthcare can become more accessible to families in the greater Nashville area.
