Grade 7's Stimulating and Delicious Latin Project

Mrs. Skillicorn's Grade 7 Latin class recently celebrated Pegasus Day, a stimulating and delicious learning exercise.
Students arrived to class to find wooden crates with golden Pegasus eggs inside. Inside the egg were instructions. The project required that students complete five Latin challenges. For each task they completed 100% correctly, they earned a body part of an edible Pegasus. They built their figures on plates throughout class. Successful teams were rewarded by being able to eat their Pegasus figure.

Pegasus was a winged horse from Greek mythology, the offspring of Poseidon, god of the sea, and Medusa, the serpent-haired Gorgon.
