5th Grade Tigers Win the Inaugural Raising Canes Bowl!
What a season for the 5th Grade Tigers! Propelled by a defense that pitched shutouts vs Harding Academy, Lipscomb Academy, St. Paul, and Oak Hill, the Tigers won the inaugural Raising Canes Bowl in dramatic fashion! Down early in the 1st quarter 8-0 to CPA, the team didn't flinch. They all played with much poise and confidence. Led by an amazing group up front in: Everett Sarb, Logan Luckey, Cole Dretler, Hudson Chinn, and Harrison Frist, fullback Stephen McIntosh was able to punch in the go ahead score late in the third quarter. After a huge forced fumble/recovery by Preston Davis, quarterback Simms Crosby was able to ice the game after a gutsy play call from the coaching staff. This team will be one to watch for in the coming years!
