2023 National Scholastic Art & Writing Awards
Ensworth is honored to have three 2023 National Scholastic Art & Writing Awards winners. For these awards, students who receive Gold Key awards in their region go on to compete with winners from other regions.
Sydney Adams '23 received a National Silver Medal in the 2023 Scholastic Art and Writing Award contest for her piece Jordan and Me. She is also recognized with the Tennessee State New York Life Award. The National New York Life Award offers $1,000 scholarships to six students whose works explore death and personal grief. State scholarships of $500 are available to two students from each of the following states: California, Nevada, New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee, and Texas.
Laela Clark '24 received National Silver Medal in the 2023 Scholastic Art and Writing Award contest for her piece Coy Corporeality.
