VISIBLE: A Celebration of Visual Arts at Ensworth

Ingram Arts Center Lobby (Frist Campus — 7401 Highway 100)
Join us on Frist Campus on Saturday, February 5, starting at 4:00 pm for a day of celebrating the visual arts at Ensworth.
The Arts Department welcomes the community to share in this celebration with open galleries, a community panel discussion, and the Creative Coffee Shop. This first annual event allows the visual art program an opportunity to shine as they highlight student artwork demonstrating a wide range of achievements, skills, and expressive ideas, which showcase the dedication of our teachers and students. Open Galleries features work from the student body and professional artists presented in multiple spaces across campus. Diversity in the Arts II panel features Nashville artists Dawn Majors, Heriberto "Eddie" Palacio, and Ben Vitualla. Special guest Kimia Kline will discuss the role of the arts in Nashville, its historical importance, and how we as viewers can connect, all under the broad umbrella of diversity. Visitors can then meet and greet our artists before closing the evening at our Creative Coffee Shop. This multidisciplinary student showcase brings performances and presentations ranging from visual arts and performing arts to the literary arts to the forefront in original student work. We will hold a reception throughout the day as we open our doors to the public and welcome you to celebrate the visual arts alongside us.
