Camp Update 7.2.20

Ensworth's camps have been designed to follow all guidelines outlined in Phase 2 of the Roadmap for Reopening Nashville, and under the mayor's new order, our modified camps will be able to run as scheduled in July.

Please see below for more information regarding our health and safety protocols. If
you are uncomfortable with your child participating in a camp you have registered for, we will continue to offer full refunds as requested.

Please reach out to your program director if you have questions or concerns.
Each summer, Ensworth hosts a wide range of camps, trips, and courses to provide opportunities for campers and students of all ages to continue learning, experiencing, exploring, and enjoying life in the summer months.

Most camps, courses, and programs are open to all students, not just those currently enrolled at Ensworth.

Registration

Grade levels refer to the camper’s grade in the 2020–2021 school year. All Enrichment camps require a $50 non-refundable deposit, which applies to the cost of the camp, or you may choose to pay in full at the time of registration. If you choose to pay the deposit, your online method of payment will be charged automatically the balance due on the installment dates of the payment plan you select. The registration deadline is May 29. Late registration may be available, with a $35 late fee, after May 29, if a camp has available spots. Camp transfers requested after May 31st may incur a $35 fee.

Cancellation

Refunds on camps, minus the $50 non-refundable deposit, will be given until May 29. No refunds will be issued after May 29. Ensworth Summer Camps reserves the right to cancel due to low enrollment, in which case, refunds will be issued in full.

Camp Health and Safety

To ensure the health and safety of our campers, our camp directors and staff are receiving extra training on Coronavirus precautions and procedures. The health and safety of our campers and staff remain our first priority. Therefore, we have chosen to follow the most stringent guidelines formulated by the CDC, local health advisories, and the recommendations by the American Camping Association. Ensworth camps are able to answer ‘YES’ to each of the guidelines published by the CDC Reopening of Camps tool. Within these guidelines, we will focus on social distancing, symptom and temperature monitoring, handwashing and hygiene, and wearing masks in common spaces. For athletic activities, participants will not be required to wear masks, but will follow the increased physical distancing guideline of 10 feet for aerobic activity. If you have any questions on the safety protocols for camp, please reach out to your camp director. We look forward to seeing everyone at camp very soon!

Since Ensworth will implement health and safety measures based upon a specific number of campers, we cannot accommodate walk-ups. Please register for camps online at least two days before the camp starts.
