Ensworth (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting the personal information entrusted to us. This privacy policy explains how we use and disclose personal information that we collect from people who visit our website, We apply the same principles to all personal information provided to us offline.

In addition, when you use our website, we may collect non-personal information including IP address, browser type, location of visitors (city, country), pages visited, device type, and date and time of visit. We and our service providers may use cookies or similar technology to collect such information. Cookies allow us to recognize you when you return and help us provide a customized experience and to detect certain kinds of fraud.

  • To communicate with website visitors and others (e.g., parents, students, and alumni);
  • To provide Ensworth’s services, including to process applications for admission and financial aid, register you or your child for Ensworth programs, prepare enrollment contracts, and create student, alumni and parent directories;

  • To fundraise;
  • To engage in standard business practices for schools, such as analytics, research, marketing, and payment processing;
  • To comply with law enforcement;

Information Sharing and Disclosure
We limit our sharing of the personal information we collect through this website as follows:

  • To a student’s parents or guardians;
  • With other members of Ensworth’s community, including in student, parent, and alumni directories;
  • To our employees, volunteers, or third-party service providers;
  • At your request, such as providing student information to third parties for standardized testing, transfers to a new school, financial aid applications and administration, or applications for college;
  • With your consent or the consent of a student’s parent or guardian or as stated at the time of data collection or sharing; 
  • With research, accreditation and oversight entities;
  • As required or requested by legal, regulatory, or governmental process, such as subpoenas and court orders; or
  • In connection with a health or safety emergency, disciplinary proceedings, or as otherwise determined by Ensworth to be reasonably necessary to protect the rights of Ensworth, its students, its employees, or other members of our community.

In addition, we may disclose, without restriction, non-personal information and any aggregated or de-identified personal information that is not linked to a specific person.  We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

This privacy policy does not apply to the practices of websites linked through our website. We encourage you to read linked websites’ privacy policies.

Updating your Information
You may request to review, update, change, or delete your personal information, or the personal information of a student of whom you are the parent or guardian, by logging into Tigernet at or by making a request via the contact information specified below.  You may also request to opt out of our processing of your personal information (e.g., unsubscribe to our emails).  We may require authentication of the requester’s identity before considering any such request.

Updating our Privacy Policy
Ensworth may revise this privacy policy at any time. We encourage you to review our privacy policy periodically to learn of any updates.

Terms of Use
Your use of our website and any disputes arising from it are subject to this privacy policy and our terms of use. All content and website code are the exclusive property of Ensworth, its licensors, or third-party content providers. Ensworth makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate content on our website. However, some content may be inaccurate or outdated.  Your use of this website is entirely at your own risk.

Social Media Use
Ensworth reserves the right to remove any material from our social media channels that we deem in violation of our community standards.
