On August 22, 2025, Red Gables Campus gathered as nine Grade 8 student nominees presented their speeches for Black and Orange Team Captains. Speaking to the ideas of spirit, competition, friendship, and grit, each student did a wonderful job sharing why they hope to be a Captain. Nominated by their peers, we are proud of the leaders these students already are in the hallways and classrooms.

- Dalton Weprin
- Evan Clardy
- Hayes Hampton
- Benjamin Hudson
This year's winners, in a very close race, are Betsy Blair and Jaxon Hopkins for the Orange Team, and Dalton Weprin and Hayes Hampton for the Black Team.
