Ensworth Students Earn Top Regional Honors in Visual and Literary Arts

Ensworth students have once again earned regional recognition for their creativity, skill, and artistic voice through honors from both the Middle Tennessee Regional Student Art Exhibition (MTRSAE) and the Middle Tennessee Scholastic Art Awards.

Spanning grades 6–12 and representing a wide range of disciplines from photography, sculpture, writing, and drawing to film, animation, ceramics, mixed media, and computer graphics, these students were selected for distinction among thousands of entries from across the region. Their work stood out not only for technical excellence but for originality, storytelling, and depth of expression.

At MTRSAE, Ensworth artists captured multiple 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place awards, as well as special recognitions such as Best of Video and Best of Photography. In the Scholastic Art Awards, students earned Gold and Silver distinctions along with Scholastic recognitions, demonstrating a consistent level of excellence across both highly competitive programs.

These honors reflect the strength of Ensworth’s visual and literary arts program and the thoughtful mentorship of faculty members who guide students as they explore, experiment, and refine their artistic voices. From middle school sculptors and mixed media artists to high school photographers and filmmakers, the breadth of mediums represented showcases a vibrant and thriving arts community.

Each of these students has demonstrated dedication to their craft and a willingness to take creative risks, qualities that are celebrated through both of these prestigious regional exhibitions.

We are proud to recognize and celebrate the following students for their outstanding achievements:
