Sutton Korn '27 Earns Best Delegate at NAIMUN Conference

Sutton Korn '27 represented Ensworth with distinction recently at the North American Invitational Model United Nations Conference, hosted by Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

NAIMUN is one of the largest and most prestigious Model UN conferences in North America, drawing more than 3,000 students from around the world each year. Throughout the multi-day conference, students engage in rigorous debate, negotiation, and crisis simulations that challenge their research, diplomacy, and public speaking skills.

Sutton competed in the East Germany 1989 Crisis Committee, a fast-paced simulation centered on one of the most pivotal moments in modern history. Delegates were tasked with navigating the political tension and rapidly changing landscape surrounding the fall of the Berlin Wall, responding in real time to evolving global developments.

At the conclusion of the conference, Sutton was awarded Best Delegate for her committee, the highest honor given in each group. This recognition reflects her exceptional preparation, strategic thinking, and leadership throughout the weekend.

We are incredibly proud of Sutton for representing our community with excellence on such a competitive and distinguished stage!
