Ensworth Students Earn Top Finishes at State Math Contest

Ensworth High School students recently showcased their mathematical talents at the Tennessee Math Teachers Association State Math Contest, held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin, Tennessee.

The annual competition brings together students from across the state, who participate at regional college sites with scores later compiled for statewide rankings. While final statewide results will not be released until Fall 2026, several Ensworth students earned top-10 finishes in their divisions at the Gallatin testing site.

  • Geddings Hempel '29 – 3rd in Algebra 2 
  • Sampson Neyman '26 – 2nd in Statistics 
  • Beau Harrison '26 – 4th in Statistics 
  • Lee Atwood '26 – 5th in Statistics 
  • Duncan Rademacher '27 – 4th in Precalculus 
  • Jasmine Hollowell '28 – 6th in Precalculus 
  • Lucas Tarquine '27 – 10th in Precalculus

These accomplishments reflect the dedication and academic excellence of Ensworth’s math students, who continue to challenge themselves and excel in competitive environments.
