Ensworth Students Earn Recognition at Model United Nations Conference

Five Ensworth students recently traveled to a Model United Nations conference hosted by the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where they participated in both the General Assembly and Crisis committees and represented the school with distinction.

Throughout the weekend, students collaborated with peers from other schools while debating global issues, practicing diplomacy, and developing solutions to complex international challenges. Their preparation and professionalism were evident in each committee session.

Nathan Fletcher '28, participating in Model United Nations for the first time, received a verbal commendation for his work representing Qatar on the Disarmament and International Security Committee.

Sutton Korn '27 earned Outstanding Delegate honors in the Crisis Committee titled “Et tu, Brute?: The Failed Assassination of Julius Caesar,” which challenged students to navigate the political tensions of ancient Rome in a fast-paced crisis simulation.

All five Ensworth delegates engaged thoughtfully throughout the conference, demonstrating strong collaboration, research, and leadership while representing the school well among their peers.

Congratulations to: Sutton Korn '27, Nathan Fletcher '28, Lucas Kochansky '29, Austin Ahrend '29, and Nadia-Grace Freeman '28.

We are so proud!
