Ensworth Engineering Club Shines at ACE Mentoring Banquet

Ensworth Engineering Club Shines at ACE Mentoring Banquet

On Thursday, May 1, 2025, members of Ensworth’s High School Engineering Club had the chance to showcase their hard work at the annual Architecture, Construction, and Engineering Mentoring Program of America banquet in downtown Nashville. The event brought together over 400 students, teacher sponsors, and industry professionals to celebrate the achievements of 11 student teams from across the city.

Ensworth makes up Team 2 in the Nashville chapter of ACE, and our five student-presenters, Katarina Santiago '26, Thao Le '27, Hudson Honeybone '26, Noah Franklin '27, and Jay Looper '27, did an outstanding job representing the team. They presented the results of a year-long design and engineering project, impressing the crowd with their creativity, collaboration, and professionalism.

At the end of the night, scholarships were awarded to select students in the program, and we’re proud to share that two Ensworth students were among the recipients. Thao Le '27 received a $7,500 scholarship, and Katarina Santiago '26 was awarded $5,000. Both scholarships are renewable for two years and recognize their dedication and potential in the architecture, construction, and engineering fields.

We are so proud of our Engineering Club and their continued partnership with the ACE Mentoring Program. It is an amazing opportunity for students to gain real-world experience, connect with professionals, and explore future career paths, and this year’s banquet was a great reminder of how much our students can achieve!
