Ensworth Welcomes New Soccer Additions
We are pleased to announce three exciting hires for our soccer program: Adam Harris as our new High School Boys’ and Girls’ Head Soccer Coach and K-12 Soccer Coordinator; Kaya Williams as our Middle and High School Girls' Soccer Coaching Assistant; and Jordi Escobar Roca as our new Middle School Boys' Head Soccer Coach.
Adam Harris joins Ensworth with over two decades of coaching experience across youth, high school, and elite club levels — including leadership roles in MLS Next, USYS, and Girls Academy (GA) programs and brings a proven track record of player development, coach education, and program leadership to the Ensworth community.
Adam has held director-level roles at nationally recognized soccer academies and has coached multiple state championship teams. He holds a USSF A-Youth License and has completed the U.S. Soccer Club Technical Leadership License, the highest-level education for academy directors in the United States. Adam recently coached his Division I club team to four consecutive State Cup Championships (2021 - 2024) and two USYS Mid-South National League Championships (2023 and 2024). He also helped guide over 20 players to sign at the MLS professional level and NCAA collegiate level, including several Division I programs.
Adam earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Information Systems, Computer Science / Communications from Transylvania University. His career reflects a deep commitment to long-term player development and to building environments where character, discipline, and joy in the game are central.
“I’m honored to join Ensworth and begin building a vertically aligned, development-focused soccer program that serves every student — from our youngest lower school players to our high school varsity teams,” said Harris. “I want to thank Head of School Prentice Stabler and Athletic Director Jason Maxwell for their trust and vision throughout this process. Their support and leadership made it clear that Ensworth is a place where soccer can thrive as both a sport and a vehicle for lifelong growth.”
Adam’s vision is to make Ensworth the premier school-based soccer experience in the state of Tennessee, rooted in technical excellence, competitive spirit, and personal development. His plan includes integrating futsal, strength and agility training, and a progressive curriculum that reflects the best of global player development models — all while reinforcing the school’s core values of integrity, growth, excellence, resilience, and service.
Kaya Williams joins Ensworth as a High School Fitness Instructor and as our new Middle and High School Girls' Soccer Coaching Assistant. A former NCAA Division I soccer student-athlete at both Lamar University and Jacksonville University, she brings a strong foundation in leadership, discipline, and athletic development. She holds a Bachelor of Science in University Studies from Lamar University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Kinesiology. Kaya looks forward to bringing her experience as a Strength and Conditioning Intern at Lamar University and as a children's soccer coach with Soccer Shots in Jacksonville, Florida, to her new role at Ensworth.
Jordi Escobar Roca joins Ensworth as a Middle School Spanish Teacher and our new Middle School Boys' Head Soccer Coach. He holds a degree in Elementary Education with a focus on Physical Education and a UEFA Pro Soccer License. A native of Canet de Mar, Barcelona, Spain, Jordi enjoyed a successful playing career with six seasons in Spain's 3rd Division. He brings extensive international youth coaching experience, serving as a Head Coach with FC Barcelona Escola and Barca Academy, Technical Director for Barca Academy Bangalore, and Head Coach at CE Sabadell FC. Fluent in Spanish, Catalan, and English, Jordi brings a global perspective and a deep passion for fostering athletic and personal growth.
