Ensworth Alumni Andre Turrentine ’21 and William Wright ’20 Honored at Tennessee’s Orange & White Spring Game

At the University of Tennessee’s annual Orange & White Spring Game this past Saturday, two Ensworth alumni were recognized among the program’s top student-athletes. Andre Turrentine ’21 and William Wright ’20 were honored as two of six recipients of the 2025 Team Awards, a distinction that highlights excellence in performance, leadership, and character.

Turrentine was presented with the Bill Majors Team Award, given to the player who best exemplifies the dedication and commitment to football demonstrated by former Tennessee player and coach Bill Majors. Wright received the Academic Excellence Award, recognizing his outstanding achievements both on the field and in the classroom.

These honors reflect the strong work ethic, leadership, and integrity that both alumni have demonstrated throughout their careers. Their recognition on a collegiate stage is a testament not only to their individual accomplishments but also to the values fostered within the Ensworth community.

Congratulations, Andre and William, on this well-deserved recognition. We look forward to all you will accomplish in the years ahead!
