Tiger Bags

Each Kindergartener receives a canvas tote bag with their name and teacher written on it and Ensworth's mascot, the Tiger, emblazoned on the side. Tiger Bags promote independence, inspire confidence, and identify them as the youngest Tigers on campus.
Many students who reach the end of their time at Ensworth will arrive at school on the first day of Grade 12 with their Tiger Bag on their shoulders. Parents will put them on the backs of their chairs at graduation. Brooks Corzine, Dean of Students on the Red Gables Campus, reflects, "The Tiger bag symbolizes so many things: a badge of honor, Tiger pride, being a part of something special and bigger than oneself, the ebullience of youth, joyful learning, and the beginning of a journey. Starting that first day, Ensworth students begin to fill those bags with their hopes, dreams, lessons learned, and way more happy memories than any ordinary canvas bag could possibly hold."
