    Grades 5–12 Boys
    Elite and Little Sluggers Baseball Camps provide proper fundamentals and insight into the game of baseball. Campers will walk away from the camp feeling enthusiastic about the game. Each week is capped off with a Home Run Derby and Camp All-Star game that is always a highlight for the campers and their parents.

  • Futures Basketball Advanced Offensive Skills and Shooting Camp

    Grades 5–9
    Coach Greg Eubanks and the Ensworth Varsity Basketball staff will lead this camp, which focuses on advanced offensive skills (passing an cutting, using screens, feeding the post) and form shooting (bank shots, free throws, power moves, layups).

  • Basketball Fundamentals Camp

    Grades K–4
    Coach Greg Eubanks and the Ensworth Varsity Basketball staff will lead and instruct the Fundamentals Camp, which will teach younger kids and kids new to basketball the basic fundamentals of shooting, dribbling, passing, and proper offensive and defensive footwork.  While learning these important fundamentals, camp participants will engage in competition and games reinforcing learned techniques from earlier in the camp session.

  • Basketball Skill Development Camp

    Grades 5-9
    Coach Greg Eubanks and the Ensworth Varsity Basketball staff will lead and instruct the Skill Development Camp, which facilitates players’ mastery of basic skills while learning more advanced techniques as well. In particular, the camp focuses on form shooting, creating shots, ball handling, attacking the basket, passing, anticipation, as well as court awareness and spacing.

  • Basketball Give & Go Camp*

    Grades K–4 Boys
    Campers will enjoy a fun-filled week of books and basketball at the Lower/Middle School Campus! Participants will be placed in small groups and rotated through literacy activities that will focus on the foundations of becoming an avid, life-long reader. After a healthy snack, campers will then partake in a series of competitive basketball drills, games, and conditioning stations that are sure to enhance their overall basketball skills.

  • Cheer Fundamentals Camp

    Grades K-4 Girls
    At Cheerleading Fundamentals Camp, campers will spend the week learning a dance routine, cheers, jumps, basic tumbling, and basic stunting to help improve their foundation in cheer. During each rotation campers, will be working with an Ensworth Cheerleader who will help them perfect the final routines, which will be performed for family and friends the final morning of camp!   • Hip Hop Dance Camp

    Grades K–4
    Join us for some groovy summer fun as we get down at the Hip Hop Dance Camp! Open to both guys and girls, this camp will include high energy dance choreography, cool tricks, and fun dance games for Grades K–4. No previous dance experience is required! Students should wear comfortable clothing they can move freely in and sneakers, and bring a water bottle! Min. 10, Max. 25

  • Dodgeball Camp

    Grades K–4 Boys
    Join Coach Perkinson and Coach Bradley for Dodgeball Camp. Dodgeball Camp is a great camp for boys in Grades K-4 to work on their dodgeball skills. Campers will learn the rules of dodgeball as well as skills to compete at the highest level. Games such as “House Rules,” “Medic,” “4-Way,” “Jedi,” “Chaos,” and more will be played.

  • Flag Football

    Grades K–4 Boys
    Ensworth Flag Football Camp will teach and develop football skills (passing, catching, ball carriage) as well as flag football-specific skills, such as flag pulling and play execution. Through participation in both fundamental drills and gameplay, kids will improve their skills in a fun and instructional environment.

  • Football Technique Development

    Grades 5–9
    This non-padded camp provides an opportunity for participants to hone their techniques and skills at a particular position or learn the fundamentals of a new position before donning the pads in late summer. In addition, this camp will benefit those kids playing flag football as throwing, catching, and defending the pass are essential components of the camp.

Campers will rotate through different drills and games for each sport, allowing them to develop a foundation in three sports in just one week. There is no better way to figure out what sports you like than getting to try them all in one camp.

    In this camp, students will receive instruction from top-level coaches on the fundamentals of golf. Campers will begin the morning working on their golf skills at Harpeth Valley Golf Center and then enjoy an hour of games and activities on Ensworth’s High School Campus. Min 10/Max 12

    Want to improve your golf game this summer? Golf Skill Development camp is designed for golfers who have an understanding of the fundamentals of golf and have played multiple age-appropriate rounds. Campers will receive instruction from acclaimed golf coach Virgil Herring on how to fine-tune their golf swing, analyze their putting stroke, learn the fine points of bunker play and more. Coach Herring will perform a full swing evaluation, short game assessment, mental skills assessment and work with the golfer on their course strategy. Max 4

    This camp is designed for beginner players as an introduction to the game. The camp will focus on advancing stick work, offensive motion, defensive positioning, and team play. Game-like situations will be incorporated to put these skills into actions. All skill levels are welcomed.

Speed & Strength

  • Speed & Strength Training Camp

    Grades 5–8
    This training program will instruct athletes on the proper techniques necessary to maximize their athletic potential. Utilizing progressive training methods, athletes will improve their linear speed through the use of sleds, belts, and speed-specific drills. Athletes will also learn the proper mechanics of explosive powerlifting and resistance training at an age-appropriate pace. Footwork and quickness will be emphasized to improve change-of-direction skills. Join us for one or both weeks this summer to build a foundation for enhancing your athletic performance.

  • Red Ball

    Ages: 7–8
    Through engaging activities, players will develop skills needed to get them ready to rally! Engaging partner activities and games are designed to build a player’s foundation in all the basic tennis strokes. Basic rallying, serving, and scoring skills are introduced. Activities and games focus on creating tennis players who can serve, rally and score independently. Use of red felt and red foam balls on a 36′ court. Racquet size: 19″-23″

  • Orange Ball

    Ages: 9–10
    For players who are transitioning from Red Ball experience and ready to play on the 60′ court, as well as players with previous Orange Ball experience with the goal of tournament play. Tennis activities and games will focus on developing groundstroke consistency, strategy, and transitioning to the net. All groupings will be level based. Racquet size: 25″.

  • Middle/High School Players

    Ages: 11–17
    This program will run for nine weeks starting June 4 and will continue through August 8. All classes will be held rain or shine at the Ensworth Tennis Center excluding the week of July 4 (1–5). This class will meet from 9–11a.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, giving your player 27 opportunities to make their classes. We offer three package options to allow flexibility around vacations and other summer activities.

    Our Tournament Player/College Prep Player program is geared for the player committed to competition and tournament play. All competition and placement in the program are based on a player's UTR (Universal Tennis Rating). This class is for the more serious and committed player. Coaches must approve participation in our competitive offerings and players will be placed according to their UTR level.

    This program will run for nine weeks starting June 4 and will continue through August 8. All classes will be held rain or shine at the Ensworth Tennis Center excluding the week of July 4 (1–5).     This camp is a fun, healthy environment for kids to learn basic volleyball skills, motor skills, and intro to game skills. Build basic skills and confidence in a safe environment.   • Yoga Camp

    Grades K–4
    Join lower school PE teacher Stephanie Kaplan for a fun-filled week of yoga poses and sequences, fun and creative games, songs, breathing exercises, mindfulness crafts, guided meditations, and more! This camp will teach you how to do many different yoga poses, including challenging inversions, like headstand, handstand, and crow; we’ll also focus on calming techniques to achieve some balance and zen. Great for kids who enjoy gymnastic activities, have extra energy, have trouble sleeping, or want to gain flexibility and balance to complement their sports training.
