High School to Host Social Issues Conference

Ensworth’s High School Campus is hosting the 2018 Social Issues Conference on Friday, April 27 from 8 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. The event features keynote speakers, community partners, and presentations by Ensworth’s seniors about their service learning projects.
Keynote Speakers are Ebony Davidson and Katrina Robinson of the local non-profit Thistle Farms. Mind-reader Robert Channing will provide entertainment at the conclusion of the day.

Ensworth invites community partners to tell their story and interact with a group of 15-25 students in a classroom in four time slots. Presenters may share information about their organization, describe the social issue the organization addresses, and explain how people can get involved and help. Organizations should fill out this form if they wish to present.

The conference, which is free and includes lunch, is open to all families and the wider community. Please RSVP to Greg Eubanks, Service Learning Coordinator, via email or phone 615-586-4466.
