Upcoming Ensights Magazine Focuses on Core Skills

The upcoming issue of Ensights magazine, due to mailboxes in early February, will focus on Ensworth's unique Core Skills: to collaborate, to communicate, to observe, to question, to speculate and hypothesize, to evaluate, and to apply knowledge.
Originally, these Core Skills were developed with the inception of the High School to guide the teaching and learning process across every discipline—academics, athletics, and the arts. But the Ensworth community soon realized that students hone the skills starting in Kindergarten. They are now a part of our entire K–12 curriculum, creating a continuum of growth and development that spans the entire Ensworth student experience.

To help translate the core skills from the abstract, Ensights writers delved into how each Core Skill translates into work in the classroom, on the field, in the community, and abroad.

Keep an eye on your mailbox for the Winter 2018 issue of Ensights to learn more about the Core Skills.
