Elias Salazar, Director of Choral and Orchestral Music, commented, "We couldn't achieve something like this without the supportive community we're fortunate to have. I hope that we can continue to grow in this direction and that our choirs will someday be a shining example for music education programs across the nation."
Competition to appear on the best-of album was tight. Varsity Vocals' leadership remarked that, "Hundreds upon hundreds of tracks were submitted, but we are only able to fit 19 tracks."
