Ensworth Alums Lead Tennessee Museums

In February, Dr. Seth Feman ‘93 was named Executive Director and CEO of Frist Art Museum, a role that brings him back to Nashville.
“After an extensive international search managed by trustee and human resources committee chair Deborah Story, the Board of Trustees is delighted to share the news that Dr. Seth Feman has unanimously been appointed the Frist Art Museum’s new director,” said Frist Art Museum Board of Trustees Chairman and President Billy Frist. “Seth brings a wealth of experience, expertise, and compassion to further execute our founding vision and mission. Seth is not the only Ensworth alum leading one of Tennessee’s finest museums. Ashley (Brown) Howell '90 took the role as Executive Director of the re-opened Tennessee State Museum in 2017. Read Ashley about this news and her memories of Ensworth from Ensights magazine.

Ashley came to Tennessee State Museum from the Frist Center for the Visual Arts where she most recently served as Deputy Director. See her full profile on the Tennessee State Museum's website.
