Meet Larissa Polkowksi and Kate Scott, parents on the Arts Council of the Parent Association.

Favorite Aspect of Volunteering: My favorite aspect of this committee is getting to be there to help out in person with students and teachers.

# of Years Served on the PA Board and/or Committee: 2 years on the board, 3 years as a committee co-chair.

Fun Fact About You: I read approximately 75 books every year-mostly novels.

Does your committee have an upcoming event or initiative we should have on our radar?: The High School Musical! After spring break, we also have performances by all of the musical ensembles and the K-12 Dance Concert, and then the spring play.

Fun Fact About You I can do a backflip off of a diving board.

Does your committee have an upcoming event or initiative we should have on our radar?: The spring musical this weekend! Freaky Friday March 3-5.

Larissa and Kate have been instrumental in coordinating volunteers for concessions, ticket scanning, and ushers for this weekend’s big event, and they clearly have a lot of work ahead of them for the final spring performances! Let’s show our support of their efforts and the Arts Department at Ensworth, and come one, come all to one of the upcoming performances!
