Tyra Gittens to Take World Stage at Tokyo Olympics

Tyra Gittens ‘17, who already won three NCAA track and field titles this year for the Texas A&M Aggies, is competing in the Long Jump finals at the Tokyo Olympics. Tune in at 8:50 p.m. CDT on Monday, August 2 on CNBC or online to watch her perform.
She claimed national titles in High Jump and Pentathlon in March at the NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships and in Heptathlon in June at the outdoor championships. Tyra will compete in the Long Jump for her native Trinidad and Tobago.

Ensworth hosted Saturday's qualification round's official watch party for the Gittens family, including Sterling '08, William '10, Nikki '12, and Nsia ‘20.
