Three Presidential Scholars and Six Merit Finalists

Congratulations to our seniors, six of whom qualified as National Merit Finalists and three of whom were named United States Presidential Scholars.
The National Merit® Scholarship Program is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships that began in 1955. Students enter the competition by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®). Out of approximately 1.5 million high school students who enter the program each year, only about 15,000 qualify as Finalists.

Ensworth congratulates six National Merit Finalists: Brooks Bradbury-Fawns, Jacqueline Frist, Nell Harris, Claire Humphrey, Anna Lapre, and Noah Lucy.

The United States Presidential Scholars Program, one of the nation's highest honors, recognizes excellence in education and the promise of greatness in young people. Each year, up to 161 of our country's most distinguished high school seniors are named U.S. Presidential Scholars. Application to the program is by invitation only. Ensworth congratulates seniors Brooks Bradbury-Fawns, Jacqueline Frist, and Sachi Srivastava on being selected as candidates for this year's program.
