Corrina Gill on the Grand Ole Opry

Corrina Gill '19 Debuts on the Grand Ole Opry

Recent alumna Corrina Gill’s Opry debut was a bit different, as she played with her parents, Amy ‘74 and Vince, and stepsister Jenny to an empty Opry House due to the global pandemic.
The concert was aired on local channels and online, and the family shared some of their favorite songs to bring peace and comfort to viewers.

A standout in the Encore and Rock Band ensembles during her time at Ensworth, the Belmont freshman plays piano and has written numerous original songs. Although the Opry House was empty of fans, hundreds of thousands tuned in for the live stream from around the world.

Corrina’s mother, Amy Grant Gill, is a fellow Ensworth alumna and has had a successful pop and Christian career with multiple Grammy and Dove award wins.

Watch the full live stream below. The video starts with an original song that she had just finished writing.

Gill also sings “Without You” by Harry Nilsson at the 1 hour and 13-minute mark.
