Matt Reasor the Graduate Hotel

Art of Matt Reasor ’92 Graces Nashville's Newest Boutique Hotel

190 botanical watercolors adorn the lobby of The Graduate in a massive installation, the work of artist Matt Reasor ’92.
The Graduate’s proximity to Vanderbilt University in Nashville’s Midtown serves as inspiration for the series, representing the variety of trees and other plants in the university’s arboretum. The hotel opened in early January and includes many nods to Nashville’s unique, creative character.

Matt owns and operates WallGarden Studio, specializing in wall coverings, panels, and installations for residential and public spaces. He is a member of the Nashville Artist Collective, of which 2009 graduate Richard Bowers is also a member.

The Graduate and the Nashville Artist Collective are hosting a meet and greet with Matt on Wednesday, January 15 from 5:30–6:30 p.m.
