Ensworth to Host Eddie George on Friday Night

Heisman Trophy winner and four-time Pro Bowler, Eddie George, will flip the coin and sign autographs at Friday night’s game vs. Christ Presbyterian Academy.
The guest appearance, which also includes the attendance of other former Titans, is part of the NFL’s “Fantennial Weekend” in celebration of the league’s 100th season. George will take part in the coin toss and watch the game from the sidelines. Titans will be on hand to engage with both football teams and sign autographs through the first quarter.

Eddie George won the Heisman Trophy in 1995 as an Ohio State Buckeye and spent nine of his ten-year NFL career with the Titans franchise, including the Super Bowl XXXIV team. His retirement has been spent working for the Nashville community.

Come out to support the 3-0 Tigers this Friday against division rival CPA. Ensworth students in Grades 1–5 can head to the Frist Campus for the game as part of Friday Night Lights at the end of the school day. Register your child for Friday Night Lights here. The game will be a “Red, White, and Blue Out” in remembrance of 9/11.
