Rising Junior Recognized for Excellence in Art

Jacqueline Frist ‘21 received a Gold Medal at the National Scholastic Art and Writing Awards for her composite photograph “Forest of Dreams.” She was on hand to receive the medal at the awards ceremony at Carnegie Hall in New York in early June.
The work received a Gold Key Award in the 28th Annual Middle Tennessee Scholastic Art Awards in the Digital Art category earlier this year. 

The national award was only bestowed upon 2,700 students out of a total of 340,000 entries. Also on hand was J.C. Johnson, who also received a Gold Medal for her role as Jacqueline’s teacher.
