Students Serve Global Community through Service-Oriented Trips

Ensworth students served school communities in Belize and Peru on two summer trips in June.
Middle School students spent ten days on the coast of Belize engaging in activities like learning leadership, studying marine biology, cleaning reefs, teaching school children, renovating a school, touring Mayan ruins, and cave tubing. View pictures and read about their journey on the World Leadership School’s blog.

Two weeks later and 2,000 miles to the south, Ensworth high school students took part in a similar service and leadership trip to Peru. They trekked through Incan ruins, tended a school’s garden, wove baskets, and taught songs to the local children. Read about and see photos of their journey here

And in July, another group of students traveled to the other side of the world for an immersive global leadership program in China. Read the blog about their travels on the Walking Tree Travel site.
