What have Ensworth's stellar faculty and staff been up to this year?

Director of Finance & Operations Whitney Johnson presented in a national conference on May 6, 2021 titled “Design the Right Endowment Spending Policy for Your School.”
Bryan Van Vleet won National High School Strength and Conditioning Association (NHSSCA) Tennessee strength and conditioning coach of the year, and he accepted the award at their national conference this summer.
Jason Maxwell was named this year’s “Mr. Baseball” by the Nashville Old Timers Baseball Association, also coaching the USA Baseball 18U team this summer.
Ross Lyons recently was accepted into cohort 6 of the Educators Cooperative. The Cooperative brings together teachers from Nashville private, public, and charter schools to collaborate and share best practices in teaching and learning and nurture a professional community of educators on behalf of all Nashville’s students. Kristin Paine and Doug Magee are also members.
Ellen Reynolds is beginning Mindfulness Teacher Certification through Mindful Schools and looks forward to sharing mindfulness throughout our community.
Elias Salazar and Jim Aveni both won certificates of appreciation from the YoungArts Foundation for their work with Esther Okai Tetteh ‘21 who was a winner in the National YoungArts Foundation’s Singer-Songwriter national competition.

Creative Technology Center: Inspiring the Next Generation of Creators
