Session 1

Knitting Club (Grades 2-5)

Knitting Club is back! A true Ensworth tradition, children in Grades 2-5 will learn how to knit (or further develop their skills). Everyone will make a hat. All supplies will be provided.

How-To Drawing Club (Grades 1-3)
Leader: Mrs. LeDuc

Do you like to draw? Do you want to know how to draw all the things? Grab a pencil and your sketchbook, and join Mrs. LeDuc for a fun class where you will learn how to make what you love come to life. Each week will center around a different theme with so many new details to draw!

Ukulele Class (Grades 1–3)
Leader: Music Staff Studios

This class will cover technique, notes, chords, and strumming to foster little ukulele players! The ukulele is very similar to the guitar but with fewer strings and gentler on small fingers. We’ll learn songs that everyone loves! Join your friends and start jamming on the ukulele! Students will perform a short concert for family and friends at the end of the semester. Tuition includes folder/music; does not include the cost of Ukulele.

KidoKinetics (Grades K-1)

Our focus is on building confidence through play as kids move and learn new sports and develop healthy habits while becoming their own MVPs. Parents can expect their kids to engage in technique-oriented sports activities that combine games, yoga, drills, and exercises that encourage basic skills and brain development. Kids learn a new muscle or bone during each class. Regardless of a child’s level or ability, Kidokinetics programs introduce basic concepts of 20 different sports in a safe, non-competitive, and fun environment. Classes and summer camps include obstacle courses, relays, games, and sports.

Minecraft® World Builders Club (Grades 2-5)

The adventure begins this fall! Explore exciting Minecraft® Education worlds as you complete epic building challenges, engineer amazing creations, and work together to solve creative missions. Every week is a new adventure where imagination, teamwork, and STEM come together!

3D Design and Printing (Grades 4-5)

Have you ever wanted to build something on your computer, then hold it in your hand? We'll use Autodesk's Tinkercad to create toys and machines out of basic shapes, then we'll use our 3D printers to take our ideas from the screen into the real world.

Chess Club is an opportunity for Grades K-5 students to learn the basics of chess at every skill level in a fun and entertaining way! Grades will be split up between Grades K-1 and 2-5 so that each group has coaching tailored to their grade level. Each student will also receive a paid Gold Membership to ChessKid.com—a 100% safe and educational chess-playing site. We will create an Ensworth Online Club at the site to keep the fun going, whether we play chess in person or online!

Guitar Class (Grades 3–5)

Students will learn the basics of guitar through the introduction of reading and fun music exercises. Students will learn chords, strumming patterns, scales, guitar notations, and more! Classes are fun and educational! Our class will perform a short concert for family and friends at the end of the semester. Tuition includes folder/music; it does not include the cost of the guitar.

Level One Violin Class (Grades 3–5)

Level I Violin Class is open to any rising Grades 3-5 students who would like to learn to play the violin. Students will learn the fundamentals of posture, violin sound production, and how to read formal music notation. The curriculum is rooted in traditional and classical methods and mixed together with engaging activities. The class will focus on sight-reading, rhythmic independence, and language development, along with phrasing and overall musicality. Students will showcase a short performance for family and friends at the end of the semester.

Mural Masters Art Club, Round Two (Grades 4-6)

Do you love bright color, the feel of a paintbrush in your hand, and working together with friends? Join the Mural Masters club and become part of a special project to beautify and brighten our school's aftercare spaces! 
What We'll Do:

• Collaborate: With the help and guidance of Miss Coates, we'll work together to brainstorm and finalize a fun, colorful, contemporary design—based on the Red Gables campus—for a large-scale mural to be installed in our school’s aftercare space.
• Develop Artistic Skills: Learn basic brush techniques, how to place colors in pleasing ways, and enjoy the experience of painting on a large surface.
• Beautify Our Space: Over the course of the club, we will turn plain white wall panels into a permanent, vibrant piece of art that our community can enjoy!

This is a terrific opportunity for students to learn about large-scale public art, develop their creative and teamwork skills, and leave a lasting, positive, colorful legacy on our school environment. Bring your enthusiasm, your creativity, and readiness to get a little messy… Let's paint our school happy!

Crochet Club (Grades 2-4)

Learn the basics of crochet in a fun and creative environment! Students will practice foundational stitches, build confidence with new techniques, and create simple projects to take home. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, Crochet Club is a great place to develop a new skill, express your creativity, and make something handmade.

Nature Art Club (Grades 1-3)

For all the creative kids who see the beauty in everything around them, the potential for anything to be transformed into an art project, and the world as their canvas for something magical, let's play with art! Students will explore different treasures from nature, unlocking their creative potential and enhancing their fine motor skills and imagination while they engage in a variety of artistic projects.

Kinder Krafts (Grades K-1)

Kinder Krafts is an engaging after-school enrichment club designed for kindergarten students to explore their creativity through hands-on, seasonal arts and crafts. Encouraging imagination, strengthening fine motor skills, and providing opportunities for self-expression.

Calling all curious minds in Grades 1–4! STEM TIGERS is a high-energy, hands-on after-school adventure where kids explore the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and math — with a splash of creativity and a whole lot of fun!
Each week, students will dive into awesome challenges like building machines, launching paper rockets, creating chain reactions, and experimenting with fizzing, popping, and messy science! We’ll use brand-new LEGO® Science kits, simple circuits, everyday materials, and art supplies to invent, test, and explore together. Whether we’re making slime, designing zip lines, or building tall towers, STEM TIGERS encourages critical thinking, teamwork, and wild imagination — perfect for young problem-solvers who love to get messy and make things move!
Be ready to build, experiment, and get your hands dirty!

CookiE Club (Grades K-6)

Join us each month for the CookiE Club. Children will learn various techniques used in creating cookie masterpieces with royal icing. Each child will decorate at least six cookies each month, and every month will feature a different seasonal selection of cookies. Registration is by single session, come as often as you like. Cookies cannot be made with gluten-free options.

MusicFun! (Grade K)
Time: 3:15-4:15 p.m.

MusicFun! is an early childhood program that explores music and literature. Students explore rhythm and movement together through great stories, beautiful songs, and fun instruments. Students are encouraged to sing old favorites and new melodies while discovering body awareness. Children have time to bond with each other in educational and creative ways.

Remembering your "pleases" and "thank yous," learning the correct way to hold your cutlery, respectfully greeting other kids and adults, and showing positive body language are just a few lessons in manners and etiquette you will learn whilst sipping something yummy from a teacup around a properly set table with Ms. Pitt and Mrs. LeDuc. We'll have loads of fun each week as we gather together, wiping our mouths with our napkins and not our sleeves, reinforcing the true meaning of etiquette: to always show respect and kindness to everyone and everything around us.

Ensworth Soccer Ball Mastery (Grades 1-5)

Ensworth's Soccer Ball Mastery is a fun, five-week soccer program for students in Grades 1-5 that focuses on building confidence and creativity through developing a relationship with the ball. Each one-hour session includes exciting games, ball mastery, 1v1 competitions, and a weekly Tiger Challenge to finish on a high note. Our goal is simple: help young players develop a love for the game while building the technical foundation for future success. Come learn, compete, and have fun!

Spa Science Club (Grades K-1)

Calling all future spa scientists! In this fun, hands-on club, students will discover the science behind their favorite spa products while creating their own bath bombs, sugar scrubs, bath salts, soaps, lip balms, and more. Each week features a new project that combines creativity, simple science, and a take-home spa treat. Students will finish the session with a relaxing Spa Day Celebration and a collection of handmade creations to enjoy at home!

LEGO Club (Grades K-4)

Stepping Stones Art Club (Grades 3-5)

Over the course of this art club, each student will work to create their own colorful glass mosaic composition for a collection of stepping stones that will bring beauty and individuality to an outdoor space at our school. Miss Coates will guide students as they learn the basics of mosaic design, safely arrange colorful glass pieces, and grout their artwork while creating lasting pieces that will beautify our campus. This hands-on club encourages creativity, teamwork, and craftsmanship and gives students the opportunity to leave a meaningful, artful legacy for the entire school community to enjoy. 
In addition to the stepping stones that will become a permanent part of the Red Gables campus, each student will create a smaller glass mosaic work that they will get to bring home with them.

LEGO Robotics (Grades 1–4)

Get ready to explore the exciting world of robotics. During this six-week after-school enrichment, your child will be introduced to programming and building advanced models with Lego bricks in the WeDo, LEGO BOOST, and Spike Prime programs. Students will be separated by age group and work in pairs to complete STEM challenges and learn basic scratch programming. This club combines education with fun and excitement.

Simple Machines/Coding Express (Grade K)
Leader: Camp Brick Staff
Time: 3:15-4:15 p.m.  
Cost: $185 (Six Sessions)

Designed for the beginner LEGO builder, this after-school club will allow your child to bring colorful LEGO models to life. Discover how simple machines and gadgets we see and use in everyday life are made using gears, pulleys, and levers. STEM concepts will be explored, and beginner coding will be introduced.

Primer Violin Class (Grades 1-2)
Time: 3:15-4:15 p.m.
Cost: $300 (Ten Sessions)

Primer Violin Class is open to any rising Grades 1-2 students who would like to learn to play the violin. This class will be rooted in traditional and classical methods and mixed together with lots of fun games. Violin students learn the basics of posture, bow-hold technique, and tone production. Students will work together on foundational skills. Students will learn how to read basic formal music notation, all while learning how to play the violin! Class focus will include intonation and age-appropriate sight-reading, as well as the development of rhythmic independence, phrasing, and overall musicality through movement, singing, and playing. Students will gain valuable experiences exploring and playing music with others. Primer Violin Class will showcase a short performance for family and friends at the end of the Semester. (Violin’s available to rent.)

Percussion Ensemble (Grades 4-5)

The Music Staff Studio Percussion Ensemble is a fun, experiential class that fosters growth in rhythmic understanding and abilities. Curriculum reading focuses on notation, the formal written language of music. Class activities explain rhythm using mathematical relationships such as counting, division/subdivision, syncopation, etc. Students have fun learning about world music, instruments, and culture. At the end of the semester, families are invited to a “Informance” to show off their musical growth.

CookiE Club (Grades K-6)
