Swimming & Diving Teams Make a Splash at Regionals
The annual Middle Tennessee High School Swimming Association (MTHSSA) Regional Championship at Centennial Sportsplex saw Ensworth teams and individuals taking first place.
Individual High School divers whose performance will advance them to the state meet include Whitney Sanders in 1st place, Kate Mischinski in 3rd, Ava Priestley in 4th, and Diana Barrett in 6th. On the boys' side, Brandon Horn placed 1st, and Hunter Haney placed 2nd.
Middle School divers who placed are Claire Murray in 1st, Charlie Jackoboice in 1st, and Miles Damp in 2nd.
Team and individual swimming results were also impressive. In the High School division, Girls' team placed 1st, the Boys' team placed 4th, and the Combined team placed 1st. In Middle School, Girls' placed 1st, Boys' placed 2nd, and the Combined points moved Ensworth to 2nd place.
Individual swimming winners included MacSpurrier in the 100 Breast Stroke, Alex Glenn in the 200 Free, and Lilly Robertson in the 500 Free.
