A Conversation with Caroline Sirko, Director of Admission-Lower School
The transition of Rebekah Capps to Director of Enrollment Management opened a space for a new Director of Admission in the Lower School. Caroline Sirko is no stranger to Ensworth, being a 1999 alumna, but we sat down to discuss what brought her (back) to Ensworth and hear more about what she’s most passionate about in her new role.
“I feel so lucky because I am an alum,” Caroline says. The strong sense of community is the number one reason she came back to Ensworth. “It seemed like a great chance to be back at a place that has such wonderful energy and school pride.” Caroline has always valued the school culture, and having her own young family now has brought her back to her roots. “To get to share this place that personally benefited me is so rewarding!”
“Education is so important to me, and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to have an amazing education at Ensworth.” As the former Associate Director of Admissions & Admission Interview Program at Vanderbilt Law School, Caroline is acquainted with the admissions process. Having attended Law School, she loved working with the graduate students because she had been there. She feels the same in her new role here at Ensworth. She is passionate about supporting families and loves being part of their journey to finding that “right fit” at Ensworth because this place meant so much to her. “I want to help people navigate the best education and experience for their child.”
Caroline is mission-driven. She longs to bring the Ensworth values to families in the Nashville community. “I love meeting with families and talking with them, learning more about them and what they are seeking for their children and their family. I get to share with them and see them get excited.”
Tours are her favorite part of the day. As the Lower School expands into the new space, she is most excited to share everything Ensworth has to offer, along with the potential the new building will bring. “Seeing the joy and energy in action” is a blessing to get to share with prospective families.
Caroline is a dynamic and energetic addition to the Admission Team at Ensworth. Join us in welcoming her back!
She lived in London and worked in insurance for two years after college.
She was never an athlete but loves sports (especially Vanderbilt and all the Nashville teams).
She still remembers the sign language song she learned for Harris Hillman in 4th grade ("Hero" by Mariah Carey) and still has her Tiger Bag from Pre-1st (now Kindergarten).
Her favorite drink is a fountain Diet Coke - could drink it any time of day!
