Students Continue to Promote Literacy through “Book ‘Em”
Grade 5 students are leading the Lower School in its 10th annual book drive for Book’em, a local non-profit that distributes books to children in Nashville.
In the past ten years, Ensworth students have collected and donated over 30,000 books to Book’em. For over 30 years, the charity has collected over 1 million books to promote literacy in Nashville.
Interested in helping local children build their home libraries and develop a lifelong love of reading? Ensworth students are looking for new and gently-used books for ages 0-18. You may send books to school with your Lower/Middle School students or drop them off at the Red Gables Campus anytime between Monday, February 24 and Tuesday, March 3.
