The new gym at the Red Gables campus officially received its name Friday in a ceremony during the Pancake Breakfast - the Brown Athletic Center.
The new gym at the Red Gables campus officially received its name Friday in a ceremony during the Pancake Breakfast - the Brown Athletic Center. The new facility is named in honor of Kathryn and David Brown, recognizing their commitment and support to the school through the Campaign for Ensworth.
Headmaster Will Moseley announced the name of the new athletic center and expressed appreciation to the Brown family for their generous support. Kathryn Brown is a Trustee and currently serves as president of the Board of Trustees. The Brown Athletic Center contains performance gym space, new locker rooms, a fitness room, concessions area and permanent Booster Shop space. The facility was completed as a result of the Campaign for Ensworth, the school's capital campaign.
