December is a busy month for the visual and performing arts departments. Mark your calendar for these upcoming events:

Sat. Dec. 7 - HS Rock Band and Jazz Band Concert - 7 pm - Theater

Thurs. Dec. 12 - Grades 5-8 Band Concert 6:30 pm Frist Hall at Red Gables

Fri. Dec. 13- Reception for Artist Ev Niewoehner 4-6:30 pm Theater Gallery Visit Arts at Ensworth for more info.

Fri. Dec. 13 - Winter Choral Concert - 7 pm
Ensworth Theater - Devon Farm Campus featuring Chorus and Singers from the High School and Singing Tigers and Show Choir from Red Gables with special guests, the Ensworth Community Chorus.

Thurs. Dec. 19 - HS Student-Directed One Act Play 7 pm Lehman-Eskind Black Box Theater. This year's production, The Real Inspector Hound by Tom Stoppard (Shakespeare in Love, Arcadia), spoofs whodunit theater and theatre criticism. Tickets are available during lunch the week prior to the show - admission is free but space is limited; pick up a ticket.
