Math Team Wins Honors in Recent Contest
On Tuesday 33 students (4 from Ensworth's middle school and 29 from the high school) took part in the TMTA State Math Contest at Trevecca Nazarene University.
On Tuesday 33 students (4 from Ensworth's middle school and 29 from the high school) took part in the TMTA State Math Contest at Trevecca Nazarene University.
In Geometry, Josh Daugherty placed 9th.
In Precalculus, Lee Folk placed 10th, and Lauren Barnett, Philly Krebs, and Matt Peacock all tied for 6th.
In Statistics, Miranda Mott tied for 9th, Alex Boehm tied (a 5 way tie) for 4th, and Laura Gerdesmeier missed only one question and was in a 3-way tie for 1st place. Laura was offered a scholarship to Trevecca if she chose to attend college there. Congratulations to these Math Tigers and to the entire team for their hard work all year.
