Red Gables Holds Martin Luther King Assembly

Students and faculty at the Red Gables campus gathered this morning for a special assembly celebrating the life and ideals of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Coordinated by the History Department, the program included student readings and music by the Middle School Show Choir. Pre-First Graders and Third Graders were featured in a slide show that illustrated their work together designing a timeline of Dr. King's life and work and major events in the Civil Rights movement. There will be no classes on Monday, Jan. 18, in observance of MLK Day.
