Ella Lucas

Over the summer, I volunteered at The Community Resource Center. The Community Resource Center is Middle Tennessee’s only hygiene hub. They provide essential items to the most vulnerable people in our area during disasters and times of ongoing need. I have completed the majority of my hours by packaging and organizing hygiene products for distribution to local non-profits that partner with the CRC. I am researching how the lack of access to basic hygiene essentials affects mental health. I hope to raise awareness of these needs in our community.
