This school year I am working with Faithfully Restored. Faithfully Restored is a Christian non-profit dedicated to helping women and families going through a rough spot in their lives. I help with fundraising events, making care packages, writing prayer requests and more. I have decided to research organ donation since it is a profound part of Faithfully Restored's story. The women who founded Faithfully Restored had a son who gave his organs to save another child. I plan to research the number and type of organ donations each year, the most common types of organ donation, and how likely the body is to accept an organ. While I am researching this topic, I plan to work with my organization on how we can work together to help families and persons who have gone through organ donation.
