Cates Spitzer

Throughout this past summer and this school year, I will be volunteering at Second Harvest and helping with their many programs to help fight hunger throughout Tennessee. I will be helping them sort through the different foods they receive as donations and organize them into their different categories, as well as packaging the food so it can easily be distributed to people in need. Then, I will be researching the impact that food insecurity has on education, especially children. Throughout this project I hope to help contribute to ending food insecurity in Middle Tennessee!
