Tatum Saunders

I choose to volunteer with Preston Taylor Ministry because I love its mission of sharing a love of learning while glorifying God.

Preston Taylor is a non-profit organization in Nashville that serves youth and supports them in academics, sports, and faith. I contribute to PTM by gathering school supplies and books, creating literacy boxes to send to students as they enter the school year, and tutoring and mentoring young children in reading. I hope to research more about COVID's effects on literacy levels in middle Tennessee and ways the community can promote learning to read.
