For my service scholar project, I volunteered alongside other counselors at the Barefoot Republic camp. During my time as a counselor, I worked with all kids with different backgrounds. At the day camp I taught various activities and worked on different life skills with the kids. My goal was to observe the social benefits of a multi- class enrichment experience and how it affects the kids confidence, learning abilities, and social skills. My academic research will explore the value of enrichment options for young people.
