Estelle Denker

I am volunteering at Abe’s Garden Community because of the community and its ties to healthcare. Abe’s Garden Community is a nonprofit organization hosting residences in both their Independent and Assisted Living section, and Memory Support Program. At Abe’s Garden Community, I primarily volunteered in the Memory Support Program by having one-on-one visits with the residents, and I helped execute events within the community. I intend to research how human interaction affects Alzheimer's patients and can promote both memory and emotion.
